How Did She Get That Name?

New Mommy, Gabby Barrett, recently shared how she came up with the name Baylah for her beautiful baby girl. Baylah’s first name was inspired by her husband, Cade’s, sister who’s name is Bailey Blane. Of course, Bailey would joke about how she should name the baby after her, like everyone does, and when Barrett told her it wouldn’t happen, she suggested Baylah! She fell in love with the name immediately and then decided to tribute her own sister as well, by making her middle name Mae. Gabby’s sister was born in the month of May, so, it makes sense.

Chris Lane Got a Veto

Speaking of baby names, Chris Lane and his wife Lauren are having their baby any day now and are trying to come up with a boys name. Chris admits that Lauren has said no to a few names that he has suggested, and also admits that one of those names is Rambo. Really Chris? Yep, he wasn’t kidding about it, even suggesting that maybe it could be used as a middle name. Whereas, we may agree that it was a solid movie in its day, it is definitely and odd choice for a baby name and we think we may have to side with Lauren on this one!

Tenille Arts Making History

It’s reason enough to celebrate a song topping the charts at #1 , but Tenille Arts is celebrating a history-making #1 single this week with her breakout hit, “Somebody Like That!” The song was co-written by Arts right alongside Allison Cruz and Alex Kline, making it the first song in country music history that was written, performed and produced by all females to reach the #1 spot on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart. Lookout for this Canadian firecracker, as she has a very bright future in country music!

Kane Brown Has a New Best Friend

In a recent interview Kane Brown couldn’t resist bragging a bit about the bond that he shares with his 17 month old baby girl. He said, “That’s my little girl, man. She’s my best friend.” In the beginning of Kingsley’s life though, Kane admits there were some hurt feelings as, “she just wanted her mom all the time.” She has come around to saying “Dada,” though, and loves playing with Brown outdoors. “Every time I put her down she just keeps saying Dada and puts her arms up, so I can’t say no.” Eventually you will Kane… you will. In the mean time though, we think the bond they share is adorable!
