Jimmie Allen Back to the Drawing Table

2021 ACM New Male Vocalist of the Year, Jimmie Allen, had to redesign his suit for his upcoming wedding because his soon to be wife didn’t like the one he had. For those that don’t know, Jimmie does design his own clothes and hopes to have his own clothing line someday. Well since his fiancé, Alexis, didn’t just love the one he had, Jimmie went back to the drawing table and designed another so he and his 6 year old son could match and look great! The happy couple are due to be married next month.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani

Hey, speaking of weddings, Blake and Gwen are going to tie the knot any time now and there has been plenty of speculation as to who they will have perform at the big event. Gwen Stefani, in a recent interview with Seth Meyers, says that she wouldn’t mind having, former judge/competitor, Adam Levine rock the house after the nuptials are all wrapped up! I guess she may be hoping for a Super Bowl halftime show repeat, but Blake had other things to say. He thinks that having a Maroon 5 appearance will have an added bonus, saying, “Their music is so boring that it won’t distract from the festivities and the reception.”

Chris Janson Saves the Day

Country singer Chris Janson, his wife Kelly and their children were all asleep, when a fire started during the night. The faint beeping from one smoke detector woke up Janson’s wife. After searching the small space where the alarm was going off, he found that an ottoman in another room was on fire! It seems his laptop had overheated while he slept and fused the battery together causing the fire. While she took their children to a safe location, Janson sprang to action and tried to douse the flames with buckets of water until firefighters arrived. He says he is unclear as to why the other alarms did not go off, as they are all hardwired into the house, but encourages everyone to get their smoke detectors checked regularly.

Big Tribute for a Big Beard

Brad Paisley and Eric Church are among the many artists performing at what will be an amazing tribute to Billy Gibbons. Now if you are a bit unfamiliar with that name, just picture one of the longest beards in rock and it will remind you of the legendary ZZ Top. Other artists to appear include: Dennis Quaid, Jimmie Vaughan, Larkin Poe, Ronnie Milsap, Travis Tritt, Tim Montana, Guthrie Trapp and “special guests” to be announced, per a news release. America Salutes You will produce the event, with concert donations benefitting military and first-responder non-profit groups such as the USO and ThanksUSA, and the whole thing will take place and be filmed in downtown Nashville, at the Grand Ole’ Opry on May 16th.
