Music City Minute 4/15 – The War and Treaty, Lee Brice, Kane Brown, Maddie & Tae

Apr 22, 2021, 10:11 AM

The War & Treaty Will Perform

Brand new country couple, The War & Treaty is set to perform a cover of U2’s “Pride” with Dierks Bentley this Sunday night. Dierks is always on the lookout for talent to come on tours or do a ‘Seven Peaks’ type of event and he is really excited to work with these two! They sat down with Tracy during the ACM virtual red carpet event and could only say nice things about him. That interview is, of course, posted on our socials!

Lee Brice is Always the Joker

Last year Lee Brice and Carly Pearce were supposed to perform their brand new song together, “I Hope You’re Happy Now,” at the ACMs, but Lee had to back out due to Covid-19. Carly jokes about how he was licking doorknobs before the event and Lee snapped back with, “You can’t give me anything I haven’t already had!” Well that turned out to not be the case, but he is well and ready this time around to perform with Carly this Sunday night at the 56th annual ACM awards!

Some Winners Already Announced

Congratulations to Kane Brown on winning his first ever ACM award for Music Video of the Year! He wins with his latest, “Worldwide Beautiful.” That now makes 3 winners that we know of, for now. Gabbie Barrett won New Female Artist and Jimmie Allen earned the New Male Artist of the year!

Maddie & Tae Steal Some Shoes

Tracy asked Maddie and Tae who they are always most excited to see perform during the ACM virtual red carpet and their answer is always the same. It’s obviously Miranda! They say, “she always sounds great, she always rocks it and she always looks great.” They go on to talk about how they share the same stylist and for a red carpet event were given a pair of Miranda Lamberts shoes. As uncomfortable as they were, the girls will never forget that night!
