WATCH – Morgan Wallen FaceTimes fan’s son during concert

Imagine being 10 years old, sitting at home and all of a sudden, Morgan Wallen grabs your mom’s phone and starts FaceTiming you. That’s what happened on August 1 when Wallen was performing in Santa Clara, California.

Between songs, Wallen was running down his long stage and saw a woman holding her phone up while FaceTiming her son. Wallen then reached out asking for the phone and was able to spend a few seconds talking to her son. There’s no doubt that 10-year-old will remember that moment forever.

POV: You’re FaceTiming your 10-year-old at a Morgan Wallen concert and it turns into his moment. 😂 Ok so here’s what happened… Morgan just hit the stage, and I thought it’d be cute to FaceTime my son. I’m fumbling with my purse, holding an adult beverage (judge me later), trying to flip the camera like a normal person… but I just gave up and turned my whole phone around so he could see Morgan. Then—out of NOWHERE—Morgan starts walking toward me. And I’m thinking… oh no… this is it. He’s about to CALL. ME. OUT. In front of 60,000 people. For FaceTiming. 😳 My heart DROPPED. Next thing I know, my son’s face is on the jumbo screen (okay not really, but it felt like it), and Morgan goes: “What’s up buddy? How are you? You ought to come to the show next time.” 🥹 Meanwhile… my son is shirtless, lying in bed, about to go to sleep. 😂 He was SO embarrassed but also so hyped he didn’t even care.
