Monster Jam returns to Denver on May 9 with 12,000-pound trucks

Twelve-thousand-pound monster trucks will take over the Broncos’ home stadium next week when Monster Jam brings its Stadium Championship Series West to Empower Field at Mile High on Saturday, May 9.

The event will feature head-to-head racing, a skills challenge and freestyle competitions in which drivers pilot massive trucks through gravity-defying stunts, jumps and backflips. It marks the sixth time Monster Jam has performed at Empower Field.

Among the highlights: the Denver debut of Bailey Circuit, a brand-new truck created through a collaboration between Monster Jam and The Greatest Show On Earth, inspired by Ringling’s robotic dog. The truck will be driven by Cory Rummell.

Ten trucks and drivers are scheduled to compete:

  • Son-uva Digger — Ryan Anderson
  • Sparkle Smash — Kayla Blood
  • Zombie — Bari Musawwir
  • Tech Deck Wreck Deck — Bryce Kenny
  • Bailey Circuit — Cory Rummell
  • El Toro Loco — Jamey Garner
  • Megalodon — Deidra Garner
  • Black Pearl — Cole Venard
  • Wild Side — Zack Garner
  • Vendetta — Mike Christensen
  • Shell Shock’ed — Dalton Widner

The truck and driver lineup is subject to change.

The day begins with the Monster Jam Pit Party from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., where fans can see the trucks up close, meet drivers and get a behind-the-scenes look at how the 12,000-pound machines are built. A separate Pit Party ticket is required.

  • Parking lots open: 10:00 a.m.
  • Pit Party: 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
  • Gates open: 1:00 p.m.
  • Trackside experience: 2:00 p.m.
  • Show starts: 3:00 p.m.

The show also includes opening ceremonies, a judges zone overview, driver introductions and giveaways for fans who arrive early.

Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster, starting at $37.Parking permits can also be purchased through Ticketmaster. Premium seating and VIP experiences are available through Empower Field at Mile High.
