Many Gas Stations Around Denver are Under $3 Per Gallon

Every once in awhile you’ll see a little gas battle going on between a few stations in a certain area of the Denver metro, driving prices down, but it’s been quite awhile since we’ve seen prices consistently this low…
The average price for a gallon of regular fuel in Colorado is $3.35, which is down 6 cents from last week, according to AAA, but the places that are below average are really turning our heads!
The website GasBuddy shows the cheapest places to get a regular gallon of fuel in any search area you want. The cheapest place in the Denver metro as of 4 p.m. Monday (May 15th) according to GasBuddy is the Shell at 5901 S University Blvd in Greenwood Village at just $2.59/gallon. Many others are $2.69/gallon, and the list of places that are under $3/gallon is as long as I’ve seen in along time. Check it out here.
