With Denver’s housing market being really expensive over the last few years, I’ve seen the memes on social media showing plastic kids houses or ripped up tents with fake for-sale signs in front of them reading prices like $500,000. Well, here’s a real-life example of that!
Westword dug into Zillow and found the five cheapest houses for sale in Denver right now. The cheapest is a real doozy!
It’s a dilapidated shack that was built 141 years ago in 1885. The one bedroom, one bath home at 315 North Galapago Street in the Baker neighborhood “needs it all,” according to the listing. Yet, they still want $250,000 for it!
The craziest part to me is that it looks like it hasn’t been updated since it was built in the 1800s, except it has pretty decent appliances. Haha! Check out pictures for yourself here.
