LOOK – $25 cup of hot chocolate in Colorado goes viral

Maybe it’s because I’ve only ever had Swiss Miss, but $25 seems STEEP for a cup of hot chocolate!
A hot chocolate made in Vail, Colorado has gone viral on the internet recently, and it’s the opposite of the powder in the little bag, that’s for sure.
The “Haute Chocolate,” a specialty drink made at the Four Seasons Resort and Residences in Vail. While there are resort locations all over the world, this drink is only made at The Remedy Bar on the Vail property.
The Haute Chocolate is made with Valrhona chocolate and steamed milk, and churned tableside from a traditional French hot chocolate pot. Then, the resort tops the drink with a homemade marshmallow, hand-crafted chocolate lattice and chocolate shavings. You can also make it an adult drink by adding in peppermint schnapps.
Maybe craziest of all, though, the demand for this hot chocolate is so high they had to employ a “Haus Chocolatier” whose sole responsibility is to make the “world-famous” hot chocolate.
