Lionel Messi will take on Colorado Rapids at Mile High Stadium

We already knew that one of the world’s most famous people was coming to Denver, but now we know a lot more people will get to see him!
Lionel Messi and MLS Cup Champions Inter Miami CF are on the Colorado Rapids home schedule for the first time ever in 2026, and that game will be played at Colorado’s biggest stadium.
The Rapids announced they will host the match against Inter Miami CF at Empower Field at Mile High on Saturday, April 18.
The match commemorates the Rapids’ inaugural home game at Mile High Stadium on April 21, 1996.
The Rapids’ 30th Anniversary Match will kick off at 2:30 p.m. MT and be broadcast on Apple TV.
Rapids season ticket membership or mini plan tickets will include the game, the Rapids said. Single-game tickets for this match are not yet on sale. Any remaining lower-level or single-game ticket inventory will go on sale on Thursday, Jan. 15.
