Lainey Wilson’s friendship with Miranda Lambert and Luke Bryan’s road mishap | Music City Minute

Aug 29, 2024, 4:13 PM

One of the featured songs on Lainey Wilson’s new album is a collaboration with Miranda Lambert called “Good Horses.” As it turns out, the two country ladies have a lot in common outside of music and they have become fast friends. Lainey recently admitted that Miranda brings out some bad habits when they’re having girl’s nights, though. Apparently, the ladies get to havin’ a good time and Wilson ends up smoking too many menthol cigarettes. Considering she hasn’t been a real smoker since college, I bet Lainey feels like she was kicked in the chest the next day.
Country songs are filled with references to things country folks can do as opposed to city folks. However, knowing the height of a truck and trailer isn’t one of those things, at least for Luke Bryan’s road crew. One of Bryan’s tour trucks didn’t quite clear a bridge in downtown Chicago and ended up wedged for hours. Thankfully, Luke’s show went on as planned, but his team definitely had to procure a new truck to continue.
I’m Sheena, and that’s your Music City Minute.
