Lainey Wilson reaches milestone and Dolly Parton speaks on new project | Music City Minute

Lainey Wilson’s dream since she was a little girl has finally come to fruition. The “Bell Bottom Country” singer is the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry. It was very special and emotional night with surprise guests, including Trisha Yearwood, Garth Brooks, Terri Clark and Wynonna Judd. Expressing her gratitude, Wilson told the packed house, “This right here, feels like the highest honor!”

Dolly Parton is putting together a Broadway musical about her life. “I’m proud to announce that we are finally developing ‘Hello, I’m Dolly,’ an original musical,” proclaimed the country legend. The Rockstar singer went on to say she has lived her whole life to see this show on stage, “You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll clap, you’ll stomp, it’s truly a grand ole opera. Pun intended.”
