Lainey Wilson flexes her acting chops, Las Vegas ’bout to get country boy rowdy | Music City Minute

Oct 24, 2025, 11:29 AM

Lainey Wilson will be making her big screen debut in the near future. The “Hang Tight Honey” singer will be appearing in her first feature film called “Reminders of Him.” Although Wilson isn’t playing the lead, she does play an important role as a friend to the main character and is teased in the official trailer. The new film “Reminders of Him” is set to be released on March 13, which happens to be Friday the 13th. However, I think it is going to be the exact opposite of bad luck for our “Bell Bottom Country” girl.
In the immortal words of Hank Williams Sr., “We’ll go honky-tonkin’ ’round this town.” But, I’m not talking about Nashville and the famed Lower Broadway – I’m talking Sin City. Luke Combs is the latest artist to announce he is bringing his brand of country to Las Vegas. The “Sheriff You Want To” singer is set to open a second Category 10 location next year. An official press release outlined the plans for the new event center, which will house a main dining room, multiple bars, dance floors, stages and of course, a rooftop bar. Because you can’t have a bona fide self-respecting honky-tonk without one these days.
I’m Sheena, and that’s your Music City Minute.
