Kenny Chesney is the 21st century man | Music City Minute

Kenny Chesney’s music has a vibe that attracts plenty of fans to propel the “Get Along” singer to the top of the charts. Billboard, which tracks chart positions for all genres of music, has named Chesney the top country act for the first 25 years of the 21st century. The rankings are based on performance on weekly top country albums and hot country song charts from 2000 through the end of 2024. When it comes down to specifics, Kenny Chesney has 21 number one hot country songs and impressively, all 17 of Chesney’s albums in the last quarter century have hit number one on the top country albums chart. It is exciting to see that No Shoes Nation is stronger than ever! On a side note, even though George Strait will always be the King of country music, I like to think of Kenny Chesney as the Pirate King of country.
