Kelsea Ballerini has shared some devastating news with fans. The “Miss Me More” singer just found out her dog, Dibs, has an inoperable tumor on his heart. Understandably, it’s a complex and emotional time right now. Ballerini has made the decision to pull back on promoting her new album during this difficult time because, “It would be disingenuous.” Kels goes on to say that Dibs is not in pain and has started meds to help give him as many comfortable and happy days as possible. Dibs is also getting lots of extra “cuddles and kibbles” from his family. The last nine years have been a rollercoaster ride for the “Peter Pan” singer — from rocketing to success, touring the world and painful divorce. The one constant throughout her journey has been Dibs and, as a dog mom myself, can only imagine the anguish she is feeling right now.
