Jon Pardi fans in Colorado will have to wait a little longer. The “Head Over Boots” singer was supposed to bring his Gamblin’ Man Tour to Blue FCU Arena at The Ranch in Loveland on Thursday night. On Wednesday, he postponed the show because he’s still sick.
“I hate to do this, but unfortunately I’m still sick with a deep chest infection and we have to postpone our shows this weekend,” Pardi wrote on Instagram. “I was looking forward to getting out there with y’all and appreciate everyone’s understanding while I take some time to get better.” Loveland wasn’t the only stop affected. He also pushed back this weekend’s shows in West Valley City, Utah and Nampa, Idaho. That makes five postponed shows over two weekends, after he called off concerts in Macon, Georgia and Biloxi, Mississippi, last weekend.
Pardi tried to push through at first. He played Wilmington, North Carolina, on Oct. 1, and said he was “squeaking by.” He told fans he didn’t want to take the stage “struggling, sick, coughing up music and blowing my nose.” He also said he wanted to give everyone plenty of notice so nobody booked a hotel or a babysitter for nothing.
The Loveland show is now set for Thursday, May 13, 2027. Hold on to your tickets, because they’ll work for the new date. If May doesn’t fit your plans, you can get a refund where you bought them. “Sorry to miss y’all this weekend,” Pardi said. “I’ll see you in May.” Get some rest, Jon. Colorado will be ready when you’re back.
