John Rich was robbed and asks internet for help, Riley Green’s resistance to one thing nearly cost him his career | Music City Minute

Aug 20, 2025, 7:11 PM

John Rich, one-half of Big and Rich, desperately needs our help. He took to social media to explain that his ATV (Polaris Sportsman 850) had been stolen off of his property. Rich included a description and photo of the missing vehicle, highlighting the unique tires. The “Save a Horse” singer asked fans to keep an eye out in case the ATV pops up for sale and direct leads to the comment section with a screen shot. Rich will reward a signed guitar to whoever legitimately leads him to his stolen ATV.
Speaking of social media, Riley Green learned early in his career how important it is to be internet savvy. This cold hard truth was revealed to Green when he was a potential support act candidate for a major Travis Tritt tour. The “Worst Way” singer was obviously excited about the opportunity, however those feelings quickly dissolved when he was ultimately turned down for the position because he didn’t have enough Facebook followers at the time. Thankfully, Green has learned to utilize several social media platform and has quickly become a household name.
