Jelly Roll lands new theme song for ‘American Gladiators’ Reboot

Growing up in the 1990s, everyone seemed to be a fan of the hit show, American Gladiators. It was all about some of the most extreme athletes going up against contestants that were in really good athletic shape.
The original show aired from 1989-1996, and the show is back after 30 years.
On April 17, the show will stream on Amazon Prime with the first three episodes. Three more episodes will air on April 24 and then the final four on May 1.
Jelly Roll will also be the voice of the new theme song for the show called, “Rise Up” and it will air at the beginning of each episode. Throughout the show’s latest trailer, you can hear Jelly’s new song.
Contestants will go head to head for $100,000 as they compete in some of the classic games as well as new ones.
WWE Superstar Mike “The Miz” Mizanin will be the host and television personality, Rocsi Diaz will serve as the sideline reporter. Sports broadcaster, Chris Rose will join the team as the play-by-play commentator.
