If Peyton Manning ever wanted to run for a political office in Colorado, he would likely have a lot of success after delivering the Denver Broncos a Super Bowl title. But, is he interested in that?
According to a social media account named “Broncos Ride Nation,” Manning wants to be called Governor Manning instead. The post that has gone viral says “BREAKING: Former Denver Broncos Peyton Manning has announced he’s running for lieutenant governor of the State of Colorado, calling himself a political outsider and saying he was inspired by the late activist Charlie Kirk to ‘get off the sidelines’ and save our country.”
This may come to a surprise to some, but you cannot believe everything you read on the internet…nowhere else online, including Manning’s social media pages, major sports networks or anywhere else has any mention of what is likely nothing more than “click bait.”
The good news in all of this is Manning won’t be too busy with politics to show up at country shows in Denver or do his Monday Night Football show with Eli.
