Here’s how to see the Blue Angels perform in Colorado this month

Aug 5, 2024, 4:08 PM

We are blessed to have the Air Force Thunderbirds flight team perform in Colorado often, but the famous Blue Angels don’t get here as often. That changes this month!

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will headline the Pikes Peak Regional Air Show on Saturday, Aug. 17, and Sunday, Aug. 18, at the Colorado Springs Airport.

Gates will open at 8:30 a.m. each day with flying beginning at 11 a.m. The Blue Angel are scheduled to fly at 2 p.m. each day.

Tickets are available online at PPAirShow.org, but be aware that general admission tickets for Saturday, Aug. 17 are sold out.

The Blue Angels are flying the F-18 Super Hornet, which is 25% larger than its predecessor that was retired in fall 2020.
