Heavy, wet snow currently moving into the Denver area.

DENVER – Heavy rain and snow is blanketing the Denver area this morning, with the possibility for significant snow accumulations in parts of the metro area. In the mountains, heavy snow will continue most of the day before winding down tonight.

There will be huge differences in forecast totals across the metro area, with the possibility of only a slushy inch or two likely north and east of downtown to the potential for six or more inches of snow south and west of the city.

Be aware of quickly changing road conditions if you must be out and about.
