Has the Casa Bonita hype finally died? Reservations are now readily available

Apr 9, 2025, 4:13 PM | Updated: Apr 10, 2025, 4:51 pm

When Casa Bonita reopened in May of 2023, I thought some of us may never get to go again because the hype was crazy. However, almost two years since it reopened, I think that hype has finally worn off…

On Monday, Casa Bonita opened up reservations for the entire summer, June through early-September, and for the first time since they started doing the online reservation thing, they didn’t all get eaten up right away.

This is the first time they opened up the reservations in bulk, and not just one month at a time, so that helps, but I guarantee a year ago this time, they all would’ve been reserved in a matter of minutes.

As of publishing this article, not only are there non-prime times open still, but even prime dinner slots are open throughout the months where reservations are allowed.

So, has everyone been back already? Is the food still not that good? Too expensive? Or is it just not as cool to post that you’re there on Instagram anymore?
