Happy Birthday to country music legend Willie Nelson, who turned 92 Tuesday!
The country icon celebrated his birthday by releasing his 154th album of his career called “Oh What a Beautiful World.” The album is a tribute to Rodney Crowell, a Texas country musician who wrote all of the songs and did a duet with Nelson on the title song.
The album also marks Nelson’s 77th solo release album. He released his debut album back in 1962 called “…And Then I Wrote” and featured the song “Touch Me,” which would be one of Nelson’s first Top 10 singles.
Since releasing that debut album, Nelson went on to release country music’s first platinum album along with Waylon Jennings, Jessi Colter and Tompall Glaser, when they released “Wanted! The Outlaws” in 1976.
