Denver has the tallest digital Christmas tree in America, and it’s really cool, so of course it’ll be back this holiday season!
The Mile High Tree, a seven-story tall, which is 10 feet taller than the tree in Rockefeller Center and contains 60,000 LED lights, will feature light shows choreographed to multicultural holiday music.
The giant tree will return to Denver’s Civic Center Park next to Denver Christkindlmarket, the city’s German holiday market, near the City and County Building.
A lighting ceremony will be held Friday, Nov. 22, at 5:15 p.m.
The Mile High Tree will be lit up nightly from Friday, Nov. 22, through Monday, Dec. 23, from 5 to 10 p.m., said Visit Denver. Entry to see the tree is free and open to the public.
A ball-drop-style countdown is also planned for 9 p.m. and midnight on New Year’s Eve.
