Gas prices drop nearly $.50 cents

As summer travel kicks off, the price of gas has been on the top of everyone’s mind. Well, there was some relief this week as the Denver metro area saw gas prices drop more than 50 cents since last Monday.
This morning, the app GasBuddy released its weekly report showing the average gas price in Denver dropped from $4.19 per gallon to $3.37 since last Monday. GasBuddy surveys more than 800 gas stations around the metro area to track average and cheapest gas prices around town.
Because we’re all looking to save as much money as possible these days, we compiled a list of the current cheapest gas prices as of early Monday morning:
King Soopers in Aurora (6412 S Parker Rd) – $3.39
Maverik in Centennial (11901 E Arapahoe Rd) – $3.54
Murphy Express in Centennial (11005 E Briarwood Ave.) – $3.54
Exxon in Thornton (2651 E 120th Ave) – $3.69
