Gas could drop below $1.50 per gallon in Denver this week

When’s the last time you can remember getting gas for less than $1.50 per gallon? Well, it could happen soon in Denver!
At the time of posting this article on Monday, AAA says the national average for a gallon of gas is currently $2.81, with Colorado’s average at $2.36, but you can find it much cheaper than that in Denver.
GasBuddy reports a Shell Station at 7273 E. Evans Ave. is currently at $1.53. Five other stations throughout Denver are under $1.60.
Political uncertainty combined with the loss of Venezuelan exports could push oil and gas prices slightly higher in the weeks ahead, according to an industry expert. Still, prices at the pump remain at their lowest levels since the COVID pandemic.
