Former Ski Resort, 45 Miles From Denver, is For Sale ‘Cheap’

Oct 19, 2023, 5:01 PM

Ever wanted to own your very own ski resort? Well, if you have $7 million sitting around, now is your chance!

Formerly called St. Mary’s Glacier Ski Resort, a 374-acre property in Colorado that operated as a ski resort from the 1930s to the 1980s is for sale.

The property that’s about 45 miles northwest of Denver in Idaho Springs and borders the Arapaho National Forest was listed for sale on Sept. 19 and currently has an asking price of $7 million.

Although it closed in 1986 and hasn’t really been touched since, the listing agent seems to think this could be a relatively quick turnaround to get the business up and running again, making it the closest ski resort to Denver.

Check it out here.
