Former Denver Nuggets player Ty Lawson arrested for shoplifting

Ty Lawson, formerly a point guard for the Denver Nuggets, was arrested for allegedly shoplifting and stealing a bottle of vodka in Castle Rock according to KDVR.

Records show that Tywon Lawson was booked in Douglas County for shoplifting of less than $300.

The alleged theft occurred the night of July 16th with Ty taking the bottle from the store and taking it to an Italian restaurant nearby where he drank from the bottle.

This is not Lawson’s first run-in with the law regarding alcohol as he has been arrested multiple times for driving under the influence with various other arrests.
