Eric Church Ready To Set New Touring Standards

Aug 17, 2016, 5:30 AM

Eric Church’s massive Holdin’ My Own tour will stretch the boundaries set by most country stars. He’ll play two sets a night with no opening act — which means he’ll likely play for about three hours.

Eric says there will be an intermission between sets so fans can mingle. “I’ve been to shows when they’ve had intermissions, where you can go get beer, and you have your 20 minutes before the band comes back. What I loved about it is you can talk about the show with other fans: ‘They played this in the first set; I wonder what the second set is?’ You’re communing.”

The tour launches on January 13th and makes a stop in Denver on April 5th!
