Dylan Scott Reveals Part-Time Job He Started Over 3 Years Ago

Jan 16, 2024, 7:15 PM

Things were very difficult for country artists in 2020. They couldn’t perform on stage in front of fans, so they were forced to write songs with other writers over Zoom to keep their fix going.

Safe to say it was a challenge to make music in 2020.

Dylan Scott on the other hand came up with another idea to keep busy and that was starting his own residential garbage company with his friend Jordan Powell.

Scott’s business is called “The Trash Guys” and it has grown quite a bit over the past few years in north east Louisiana.

The “Can’t Have Mine” singer started with a small dump trailer, but has upgraded and bought multiple garbage trucks to grow the business.

The Louisiana native mentioned that they currently have over 5,500 customers of all ages and Scott even teased that he might be bring the business to Nashville, TN in the future.

Since Scott’s smash hit “My Girl” went No. 1 on country radio in 2017, he’s added three more No. 1s including “New Truck” and “Nobody.”

Scott has announced that one of his latest songs, “This Town’s Been Too Good to Us” will be his latest single at country radio. He’s also paired up with Dylan Marlowe on “Boys Back Home.”
