Country singer Dustin Lynch will host a pre-party for fans ahead of his benefit concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Wednesday evening (April 22), giving concertgoers an extra stop before one of the spring’s highest-profile country shows in Colorado. The party will happen at 4:30 p.m. at the top of the Red Rocks Plaza.
Lynch announced the pre-party on social media this week ahead of his co-headlining performance with Chase Rice at the iconic Morrison venue. Details on the pre-party location and whether Lynch himself will appear remain scarce, but the event is intended to build excitement around one of the most notable stops on the country artist’s tour.
The Red Rocks show itself carries a charitable purpose. Coors Banquet is returning to the amphitheatre for a second year to present the concert, with a portion of every ticket sold going directly to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation The foundation supports families of firefighters killed in the line of duty and assists injured wildland firefighters and their families.
Local firefighters will be honored at Wednesday’s show, with Coors Banquet seating them in the first two rows of the amphitheatre.
Doors open at 6 p.m., with the show beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are available through AXS.com.
Shuttle services to Red Rocks for the Lynch-Rice show will depart from Illegal Pete’s on Colfax and the Thirsty Lion in Denver, with check-in opening two hours before doors.
