Dogs are just $52.80 to adopt at the Denver Animal Shelter all May

May 6, 2024, 5:10 PM | Updated: May 8, 2024, 4:51 pm

I am not only a proud owner of a rescued dog, but also an advocate of everyone checking shelters for their next family pet first. Right now is the perfect time to do just that in Denver.

Denver Animal Shelter is offering deals on dog adoptions throughout the month of May.

Dogs six months and older will be available for $52.80 as part of the shelter’s “Mile High Mutts” program. Fees normally range from $100 to $170, depending on age.

The Denver Animal Shelter is located at 1241 W. Bayaud Ave., and is open Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m-6:30 p.m., and Saturday & Sunday, 11 a.m-4 p.m. Adoption visitations must start at least an hour before closing. You can view animals until closing time.
