Does the cinnamon rolls and chili combination come from Colorado?

It’s about to get really cold, and growing up in Colorado, when it got really cold, we always ate chili. And we only ate our chili one way…with cinnamon rolls! However, as I was telling a coworker about that today, I learned maybe not everyone loves the combo as much as I do.

I have always been under the impression that chili and cinnamon rolls were supposed to go together. It was my favorite school lunch, and my grandma always had cinnamon rolls to go with her homemade chili too. However, lately as I have talked about the pairing I have gotten a lot of resistance. People have even looked at me like I am crazy…so, is this just a Colorado thing? Am I just weird in general? Or, do you also love this combo?

Tell us what you eat with your chili here…
