Normally when you think parades the 4th of July, St. Patrick’s Day, and Christmas are the holidays that come to mind, but in Denver we also celebrate Halloween with a parade!
The Broadway Halloween Parade is back for the 6th time this Saturday night (Oct. 19).
The parade, which travels down Broadway from 5th Avenue to Alameda Avenue through Denver’s South Broadway area, features spooky floats, bands, marchers, magicians and more.
The parade was nearly canceled this year until it was able to raise $42,000 for pedestrian barriers.
The parade, which of course encourages you to dress up in your costume, begins at 6 p.m. Saturday. Learn more here.
