Denver’s Rocky’s Autos is Closed After 40 Years

Sep 8, 2022, 4:00 PM

If you’ve lived in Denver for last 20ish years or so there is no doubt you’re at least familiar with Rocky’s Auto simply because of their crazy TV commercials that ran locally in the early 2000’s.

The dealership opened in 1982 at West 20th Avenue and Federal Boulevard, near Mile High Stadium, and then moved to West 63rd Avenue and Federal in 1992, where it remained until the closure.

I’m sure a lot of people in Denver remember the dealership as a place they bought a vehicle, but people all over the state of Colorado will always remember them most for the quirky commercials featuring the Shagman, Officer Odell, and Audra.
