Denver’s own Spencer Crandall is kicking off a Make-A-Wish concert series at Number 38 on Aug. 14

Aug 11, 2026, 3:40 PM

A Denver kid who picked up a guitar for a high school project and turned a shoulder injury into a country music career is coming home this Friday (Aug. 14) for a very good reason.

Spencer Crandall, the Denver-born, Nashville-based country singer with over 250 million career streams and 2.5 million TikTok followers, headlines the first night of Make-A-Wish Colorado’s Summer Concert Series at Number Thirty Eight in RiNo on Friday, Aug. 14. Doors open at 5 p.m. with an opening act at 7 and Crandall taking the stage at 8:30. General admission is $15, VIP is $60 and includes a two-hour open bar before the show, and every ticket sold benefits Make-A-Wish Colorado.

Crandall grew up in Denver attending summer country concerts with his parents before heading to Grand Junction to play college football. When a career-ending shoulder injury sidelined him, he started recording songs in his dorm room, posting them to social media, and building a following that eventually landed him in Nashville, where his hit “My Person” racked up 70 million streams and hit No. 1 on SiriusXM.

The concert series continues with Tyler Farr on Aug. 22 and Mike Eli of the Eli Young Band on Aug. 30, both also at Number Thirty Eight, both also benefiting Make-A-Wish Colorado. Number 38 has partnered with Make-A-Wish for multiple years running, including their annual Bison Days celebration.

So grab your friends, grab a $15 ticket, and go watch a kid from Denver play country music on a Denver stage for Colorado kids who deserve a wish.
