Denver’s first snow could come later this week

Welcome to fall in Denver… Nearly a record high today (Oct. 14) and then maybe our first snow of the season later this week.

Although things can change in a hurry here in Colorado, our partners at 9News say there is a chance of rain, snow and cooler temperatures on Friday and Saturday.

One thing is almost certain, things will cool down a lot in Denver on Friday and Saturday. Rain is the most likely precipitation in lower areas like Denver, but there is a pretty good chance the mountains will see some snow.

If Denver does get snow, it’ll likely be of the wet/slushy variety, and won’t accumulate to much.
