Denver Nuggets release schedule featuring a late-night Christmas showdown

There are 82 games in the regular season for NBA teams, but I have one big circle on the calendar after the Denver Nuggets released their 2024-25 schedule today (Aug. 15)!

The Nuggets play on Christmas Day/Night at 8:30 p.m. Denver time in Phoenix against the Suns. It marks the third straight season the Nuggets will play on Christmas Day. The Suns have Kevin Durant who spent part of his Olympics in Paris on X talking trash to Nuggets fans.

The Nuggets will open play at home on Oct. 24 against the Oklahoma City Thunder. This matchup will feature the top two teams in the Western Conference from last season.

The Nuggets will also appear on national television 22 times.
