Denver ‘Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives’ favorite suddenly closes

May 16, 2024, 4:20 PM | Updated: 8:46 pm

Sadly, hearing about restaurants closing these days is not surprising at all. But this one in the Denver-area caught everyone off-guard…

Not only was CoraFaye’s Café in Aurora on the popular show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives in 2013, but the restaurant has been a favorite for over 15 years. So why would it suddenly close?

The popular soul food restaurant that was recently listed as Colorado’s best mom and pop restaurant experienced a brutal kitchen fire that shut down their business about a month ago.

According to a Facebook post they are “closed until further notice,” but not closed forever. Let’s hope they get back to business soon!
