Country singer Gavin Adcock makes massive donation to Colorado school shooting victims

There was a lot going on for Gavin Adcock at Oklahoma’s Born and Raised Fest over the weekend, including a near-fight with Zach Bryan, but once he was on stage, he had other things on his mind.

One was the two child victims of a school shooting in Evergreen, Colorado, last week. While addressing both the Charlie Kirk shooting and the Colorado shooting, the singer surprised the crowd (and perhaps his own merch people) by saying “I think I heard that those two kids at the Colorado school, they’re going to have some hospital bills, so we’re covering them with the merch tonight.”

That number could prove to be significant; a Gavin Adcock show with 2,500 people will raise about $25,000 in merchandise sales, so with a music festival crowd and a charitable reason to buy one of his t-shirts, the amount raised could be well north of that.

Although I am not a fan of all the drama with Gavin and other country singers, how could you not love him for this?
