Country artists on Billboard’s list for top artists in 21st century | Music City Minute

Billboard has released a list of the top artists of the 21st century. The all-genre list rankings were determined by an artist’s performance on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and Hot 100 Songs chart from Y2K to the end of 2024. Country music was represented with several high-profile acts, including Alan Jackson, who came in at number 99. Tim McGraw found himself in the top 60, while Rascal Flatts landed at number 48. Kenny Chesney came in at number 42 and Luke Combs is at number 40. American Idol winner, judge and country megastar Carrie Underwood came in at number 33. Kelly Clarkson landed at number 27. Crowd favorites Morgan Wallen and Post Malone landed at number 13 and four, respectively. Finally, the top artist of the 21st century, according to Billboard, is Taylor Swift.
