Could Denver see its latest first snow ever this year?

It sure seems like Mother Nature may just skip right over fall in Denver this year, so it wouldn’t be surprising if it’s still quite a while before it snows…
That being said, we all know the weather is a bit unpredictable in Colorado, so it could snow anytime now. If it happened in the next week it would actually be “early,” as the average first day of measurable snowfall comes on Oct. 18. in Denver.
According to the National Weather Service, the latest first snow in Denver history was just a few years ago in 2021 when it didn’t snow until Dec. 10. The rest of the dates in the top ten latest first snowfalls were all in November. You can see them all here.
So, in short, to set a record we’d still be two months away from any snow…
