Red Rocks sold over 54,000 hot dogs in 2025 – why aren’t they better?

Dec 5, 2025, 4:39 PM | Updated: Dec 8, 2025, 12:16 pm

I get it, no one goes to Red Rocks to eat hot dogs, but according to a new report, a ton of people eat them when they’re at the famous venue, so I am here to say something about their poor quality!

According to a recap post on Instagram, a total of 1.75 million people attended 236 events at the Colorado amphitheatre in 2025, making it among the top-visited venues in the world again.

The social media post also reported that 54,200 hot dogs were sold in this time, making it the fourth most popular food at the venue behind pizza, tater tots and popcorn.

But have you ever had a hot dog there? They aren’t good. Not only are they subpar, but they are pricey! People travel from all ends of the earth to come visit Red Rocks, and I personally think they deserve better! As I mentioned when I started this rant, I get that no one goes for the hot dogs, but imagine how much better the overall experience would be if they got great views, great music and great hot dogs!

Should we start a petition?
