Colorado’s own Ziggi’s Coffee just made a latte that tastes like an everything bagel

Leave it to a Colorado coffee company to look at an everything bagel schmeared with cream cheese and think, “What if we made that a latte?”
Ziggi’s Coffee, the Longmont-born chain that started as a tiny shop on Main Street in 2004 and has grown to over 100 locations nationwide, has partnered with Philadelphia Cream Cheese to create the Everything Bagel Latte, and it is exactly as unhinged as it sounds. The limited-time drink starts with Ziggi’s fan-favorite vanilla iced latte, tops it with cold foam made from actual Philadelphia cream cheese, sweet cream and tahini, and finishes it with a dusting of everything bagel seasoning. It’s Ziggi’s first-ever savory latte and Philadelphia’s first-ever beverage.
The catch: it’s only available Aug. 11-17 at participating Ziggi’s locations while supplies last, with only 200 sold per store. Every latte comes with a special cup sleeve that doubles as a coupon for $1 off a Bagel Breakfast Sandwich through Aug. 31.
Founders Brandon and Camrin Knudsen built Ziggi’s from a corner coffee shop in downtown Longmont into a national franchise, so it feels very on-brand that their company’s boldest menu move to date is putting cream cheese cold foam on an iced coffee and daring you to try it.
Early reviews are surprisingly kind. One taste-tester said it reminded her of “the taste you get when you eat an everything bagel and then take a sip of coffee,” which is either the best or worst endorsement imaginable, depending on how you feel about that particular breakfast sequence.
Colorado: where we put green chile on everything, Palisade peaches on a pedestal, and cream cheese cold foam on a latte. Find your nearest Ziggi’s at ziggiscoffee.com before the 200-per-store supply runs out.
