McDonald’s really wants to be the home of your favorite drink, but they have to try out their new sips on some folks first, and Colorado gets to be the guinea pig!
McDonald’s is trying out a bold new beverage lineup at over 500 locations across Wisconsin and Colorado. Inspired by its now-closed CosMc’s concept, the new drink menu features cold brews, fruity refreshers, creamy frappés and trendy dirty sodas (yep, sodas with syrup and cream over pebble ice!).
The move is aimed straight at Gen Z’s obsession with flavorful, Instagrammable drinks and jumps on a growing fast-food trend already being embraced by chains like Dunkin’, Taco Bell and Chick-fil-A.
With beverages proving more profitable than burgers, Mickey D’s is betting big on becoming your new go-to afternoon pick-me-up.
