Colorado had its first snowfall today!

Sep 11, 2023, 10:49 AM | Updated: 10:51 am

Colorado finally had a break from our late Summer heat this weekend, and that resulted in us having our first tastes of Fall kicking in as Colorado received its first snow flakes today in the mountains.

Several peaks around Colorado experienced their first snow including Pikes Peak, Loveland Pass and Longs Peak!

Snow even fell at Rocky Mountain National Park and you can check out the current view on their cam by Clicking Here

The snow fell almost a month after last years first snow in Colorado which was August 17th!   For us here in Denver, the average first snow is about a month from now on October 18th.

Looks like at least for now Denver is in the clear with mostly 70’s-80’s for the next week!
