Chris Stapleton will have a car in the Daytona 500: Look

Country music is going to be making it’s way to Florida next month for the Daytona 500 and it’s going to include Chris Stapleton.
The 14-time CMA Award winner will be teaming up with JR Motorsports and the No. 40 car. The design of the car will feature Stapleton’s whiskey, Traveller Whiskey. JR Motorsports is currently owned by legendary NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Justin Allgaier, who is the defending NASCAR Xfinity Series Champion, will be driving the car on race day.
“We’ve been waiting for the right moment for JR Motorsports,” Earnhardt Jr. said “With Justin winning the Xfinity Series championship and Chris Stapleton’s undeniable star power, the planets aligned for this perfect opportunity to enter this year’s Daytona 500.”
“Traveller Whiskey joining JR Motorsports for their inaugural entry into the Cup Series at the Daytona 500 feels like a very natural partnership,” Stapleton said.
“I’m honored to be a part of this historic moment with Dale and Kelley, and excited to see Justin race the No. 40 Traveller Whiskey Chevrolet in Daytona.”

The Daytona 500 will take place on Sunday February 16 at Dayton International Speedway in Dayton Beach, Florida. You can watch the race live on FOX at 12:30 MT.
