Charley Crockett wants nothing to do with Gavin Adcock’s sass mouth | Music City Minute

Many folks in the entertainment industry still live by the notion that “any publicity is good publicity.” It would seem Gavin Adcock has fully embraced that ethos. Earlier this month, the “Deep End” singer shared an update about his reckless driving court case in Tennessee. The 26-year-old pleaded guilty to a single speeding ticket while the most serious charges were dropped. Instead of lying low or reflecting on his good fortune, Adcock hopped online and kicked up a social media feud with Americana artist, Charley Crockett. Plenty of barbs were posted back-and-forth between the performers. However, Crockett’s 15 more years of wisdom and maturity, shown through with eloquent and well thought out statements. Meanwhile, the comment section provided entertaining commentary. One astute follower pointed out that both artists just released new albums, and alluded to the discourse as clever marketing.
