Carly Pearce encounters rude concertgoer and gets new ink | Music City Minute

Aug 6, 2024, 4:20 PM

Carly Pearce is not putting up with any guff at her shows. The “Hummingbird” singer recently had a rude concertgoer escorted out of the WE Festival in Minnesota. A local radio DJ posted a video of the incident and later explained that when Carly hit the stage, she said, “Let me tell you a little about myself.” The unruly man then yelled, “We don’t care.” Understandably, the comment frustrated the Grammy-winning singer and she took swift action against him. I don’t blame her, if that man was acting a fool during her set, imagine what the rest of the night would’ve been like.
On a more positive note, Pearce debuted a new tattoo that honors her membership at the Grand Ole Opry. The new ink is a stylized postage stamp with a guitar, the words “Grand Ole Opry” and the year ’21, which is when she was officially inducted.
