Brantley Gilbert makes surprise announcement at show | Music City Minute

Brantley Gilbert is currently on his “Off the Rails Tour,” and that title ended up being prophetic. On Friday, October 11, Gilbert was called off stage in Tupelo, Mississippi, and was gone for about an hour according to fans. Visibly emotional, the “Bottoms Up” singer returned to the stage and announced, “We got a baby, Mississippi!” Gilbert confirmed his wife, Amber, had given birth to their third child on the tour bus. After the initial shock wore off, Amber apparently told her husband, “Now get your [butt] back to work!” In a beautiful post that included a picture of mama and the new baby, Brantley thanked his road family for helping bring their son into the world. You know, since the baby boy was born in Tupelo, it would feel right to incorporate “Elvis,” “Aaron” or “Presley” in o his name. Just sayin’…
