Blake Shelton will be part of a new singing competition ‘The Road’

Just when you thought there might be too many singing competitions, another one has surfaced and it will include country music superstar Blake Shelton.
It was announced on November 11, that Shelton will be teaming up with the creator of the hit show “Yellowstone,” Taylor Sheridan to create a new singing show called “The Road.”
The show will take you backstage to see what the life of a touring artist is like. While going behind-the-scenes, fans will get to see what it’s like when up-and-coming performers pile into a tour bus and hit the road by going show to show and city to city.
Contestants will compete as opening acts to win over local fanbases to remain on tour and head to the next city with a superstar headliner that is already on tour. Though the headlining superstar has not been announced yet.
The series will start in the fall of 2025 on CBS.
Shelton has appeared on singing competitions before like “the Voice” and “Nashville Star.”
